PASTOR'S PRAYER CORNER

Hello, my name is Pastor James E. Boney and welcome to the Pastor's Prayer Corner.  I believe we can Live our Lives in such a way that our Prayers will Always be Heard by God. 

This was demonstrated by Jesus in John 11:38-44 when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after he has been dead four days. 

​I believe we can use the same steps Jesus used with Lazarus to raise some dead or dying things in our lives -- in our homes -- with our children -- in our finances -- in our churches -- and in our communities. Amen. 

How can our Prayers Always be Heard by God?

1. Access -- Build a Strong Fatherly Relationship with God the Father.
   • John 11:41 Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
   • What’s the Access Code – The answer is Father.
   • Matthew 6:9 Jesus taught - 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven.
   • John 1:12 - 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, Jesus gave the right to become children of God. 
   • We must have a strong Father relationship with God. Amen.
2. Righteousness.
   • James 5:16 says - The prayer of a righteous person is Powerful and Effective.
   • Psalm 34:15 -- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry. 
   • God hears the Prayers of the Righteous – those trying to live right. If we want to be – heard by God – we need to try to live Right – before God.
3. Faith.
   • John 11:41 -- Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me.”  43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 
   • 44 The dead man came out of that grave and Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
   • If we want God to move in our lives – we must have Faith that God has the Power -- To Do -- what we are asking Him to do.
4. Amen.
